I'm fascinated by Shenzhen city, its beauty, fast development and endless opportunities. My Chinese friends from Shenzhen highly recommended SZU and from my own experience in Shanghai, language courses at universities have much higher level of teaching as well as fantastic teachers. Therefore, I would like to continue my studies but in a different city this time.

1) The university is located in Shenzhen which is my target city: people speak mandarin rather than cantonese like in Guangzhou or Hong Kong (my goal being getting fluent at mandarin), pollution is lower than in Beijing or Shanghai. I have some friends there.
2) The university provides the perfect format for me: intensive courses on mornings and the afternoon the possibility to enjoy and discover Shenzhen's innovative ecosystem and companies
3) I have some chinese origins (on my father side) from Shenzhen (Longhua), I want to make some genealogy research on my free time
