Top↑Program Description
Currently, international students who intend to learn Chinese language at HUST will be arranged 6-level grades according to their actual Chinese proficiency. That is level-A, level-B, level-C, level-D, level-E and level-F. Each level will be subdivided into several classes on the basis of the number of students. More detailed information about 6-level grades is as follows:

Notes:
- 1 class hour equals 45 minutes
- To guarantee the teaching effect, the number of each class is confined to around 20.
- 1 academic year consists of 2 semesters. The 1st semester starts at the beginning of every September and it usually includes 22 weeks; the 2nd semester starts at the end of every February and it usually includes 20 weeks.
- Some courses will vary according to the situation.
- Chinese proficiency test will be arranged for freshmen to decide which level is most suitable for him/her. New students will go to class bearing LECTURE CARD and the bearer can change class with this card within 2 weeks since it has been issued. The tuition for long-term learning is RMB 6580 yuan/semester or 13,150 yuan/academic year.
