Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Materials
Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

 

Language Programs
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. An official certificate of your highest education;
4. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript;

Undergraduate students
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. An official certificate of high school diploma;
4. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript;
5. A photocopy of HSK certificate;
6. Music work, painting work and other related art work (for applying Arts subject).

Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. A photocopy of Bachelor's degree diploma;
4. A photocopy of the transcript;
5. A photocopy of HSK certificate;
6. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associated professors;
7. Personal statements (200 words or more) with signature, indicating the applicant's Chinese learning background, study plan and goals in China, etc.

Master's Programs
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. A photocopy of Bachelor's degree diploma;
4. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript;
5. A photocopy of HSK certificate;
6 Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associated professors;
7. Music work, painting work and other related art work (for applying Arts subject)

Doctoral Programs
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. A photocopy of Master's degree diploma;
4. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript;
5. A photocopy of HSK certificate;
6. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associated professors.

 
   

General visiting students programs
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. An official certificate of your highest education;

5. Elaborate study plan
6. Music work, painting work and other related art work (for applying Arts subject)

Senior visiting students programs
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;
2. Passport-size photo;
3. An official certificate of your highest education;
4. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript;
5. Elaborate study plan
6. Music work, painting work and other related art work (for applying Arts subject)

 

Qualification

Language Programs
16 years old and above, with valid foreign passport

Bachelor of Chinese Language (International Business - Chinese and English Bilingual direction)
1. High school qualification or above;
2. HSK level 3 (or) prior experience learning Chinese at a Chinese University for a duration longer than six months.

Undergraduate Programs
1. High school qualification or above;
2. HSK 3 for programs in Science, foreign languages and Chinese as a second language; HSK 6 for programs in Liberal Arts.

Master's Programs
1. Undergraduate qualification or above
2. HSK 6
★ The students shall take the entrance exam after finishing the application procedure.

 
   

Doctoral Programs
1. Master's degree diploma;
2. HSK 6
★ Students take the entrance exam after finishing the application procedure.

General Visiting Students Programs
1. High school qualification or above;
2. HSK 6

Senior Visiting Students Programs
1. Bachelor's degree or above;
2. HSK 6
