Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES. 

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Requirement

Long-term Chinese Language Training

• Applicant should be over 18, with good health and valid foreign passport.

Short-term Programme

• Applicant should be with good health and valid foreign passport.

MA International Chinese Education Programme

• Applicants should be teachers from overseas primary and high schools with Bachelor Degree or undergraduate graduation certificate in Chinese, Education, Foreign Language, etc or equivalent.

Undergraduate Program

• Applicant should hold high school graduation certificate with excellent performance and good health, and have valid foreign passport.
• Those who apply for liberal arts, business should hold HSK level 6 certificate; and apply for science and Chinese language major should hold HSK level 3 certificate;

Master's Degree Program

• Applicant should hold undergraduate graduation certificate with excellent performance and good health, and have valid foreign passport.
• Those who apply for liberal arts, business should hold HSK level 6 certificate; and apply for science should hold HSK level 3 certificate;

Doctoral Degree Program

• Applicant should hold master's degree graduation certificate with excellent performance and good health, and have valid foreign passport.
• Those who apply for liberal arts, business should hold HSK level 6 certificate; and apply for science should hold HSK level 3 certificate; there is no Chinese requirement for English medium programs.

Long-term Chinese Language Training

1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport
2. Passport-size photo
3. An official certificate of your highest education

Short-term Programme

1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport

MA International Chinese Education Programme

1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport
2. Passport-size photo
3. Certificate of Employment
4. Bachelor Degree or undergraduate graduation certificate

Undergraduate Program

1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport

3. High school graduation certificate and full transcript
4. Copy of HSK Score Report
5. Physical Examination Record

Master's Degree Program

1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport
2. Passport-size photo
3. Final degree transcript should be original in Chinese or English, or certified copy
4. Two original written references by associate professors or equivalent, in Chinese or English
5. HSK Score Report if applicable
6. Bachelor degree diploma or certification
7. Physical Examination Record

Doctoral Degree Program

1. Physical Examination Record
2. Copy of master's diploma or graduation certificate
3. Copy of Master's degree transcript
4. Two references letters by professors or equivalent, in Chinese or English
5. Copy of HSK certificate (except English medium programs), those who with 12-year's Chinese education background from Malaysia and Singapore only provide the school education proofs.
6. Abstract of master's graduation thesis (English or Chinese, within 1500 words)
7. Passport-size photo
8. A photocopy of the applicant's passport

Application Period

Applications for the Winter Short Program and Spring Semester enrollment are accepted from October-December.
Applications for the Summer Short Program and Fall Semester enrollment are accepted from March to May.
