Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Requirement

Long-term Chinese Course
An equivalent of China’s high-school graduation education or higher;
Over 18 years in age;

Short-Term Chinese Language Course
1.An equivalent of China’s high-school graduation education;
2.Over 18 years in age;

Propaedeutic Education of Chinese
1. An equivalent of China's high-school graduation education;
2. A minimum requirement of HSK 3 or learnt Chinese over one year;
3. Over 18-years in age;

Bachelor's Degree Program of Chinese
1. An equivalent of China’s high-school graduation education;
2. Final education certificate and transcript;
3. A minimum requirement of HSK 5 certificate;
4. Over 18-years in age;

Undergraduate Programs
1.An equivalent of China’s high-school graduation education;
2.Final education certificate and transcript;
3.A minimum requirement of HSK 3 or 6 (liberal arts)certificate;
4.Over 18-years in age;

Master's Degree Programs
1. An equivalent of China’s college education;
2. Final education certificate and transcript;
3. Over 18 years in age;
4. A minimum requirement of HSK 3 or 6 (liberal arts) certificate;
5. Recommendations from at least two teachers with titles of/or above associate professor;

Doctoral Degree Programs
1. An equivalent of China’s master education;
2. Final education certificate and transcript;
3. Over 18 years in age;
4. A minimum requirement of HSK 3 certificate;
5. Recommendation from at least two teachers with titles of /or above associate professor;

Application Materials
