Accommodation For Language Students
1) SISU Guesthouse
An 18-storey building, built in 2000 and located on Hongkou Campus of SISU, is equipped with central air-conditioning. Inside there is a cafeteria, a grocery, a beauty parlor and an ATM. Both double rooms and single rooms are available. Each room has a private bath, a telephone, a TV set, internet access, etc. There’s a communal use kitchen each floor, with a washing machine, a fridge and a microwave oven.
- Regular room fee: double room, 65 RMB per person per day; single room, 110 RMB per day. In 2011, the building will be decorated and room fee will be a little lower.
- For short-term students during summer or winter vacation, the cost of a double room is 65 RMB per person per day and single room 115 RMB per day.
2) SISU Hotel
An 18-storey building, built in 1996, is located at 555 Chifeng Road, Hongkou District, with a distance of 5-minute walk from the campus. The Hotel, equipped with central air-conditioning, inside has a cafeteria, a grocery and a beauty parlor. Both double rooms and single room are available. Each room has a private bathroom, a telephone, a TV set, internet access, etc.
- Double room: 75 RMB per person per day; Single room: 150 RMB per day.
3) Foreign Experts’ Building
A multiple-storey building built in 1994, is located at 121 Guangling No.1 Road, Hongkou District, with a distance of ten-minute walk from the campus. Both double rooms and single rooms are available. Each room has an air-conditioner, a private bath, a telephone and a TV set.
- Double room: 50 RMB per person per day; Single room: 85 RMB per day.
Accommodation for Degree Students
Dormitory in Songjiang Campus
A three-storey building built in 2001, is located on Songjiang Campus of SISU. Both double rooms and single rooms are available. Each room has an air-conditioner, a private bath, a telephone and a TV set.
- Triple room: 50 RMB per person per day; Double room: 65 RMB per person per day;
- Single room: 100 RMB per day.
5) Outside-campus lodging is allowed with permissions of student’s custody and the Office of International Student Affairs.
★ The accommodation fees of the above university dormitories are paid by semester and will not be refunded if you leave during the semester.
