Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

General Advanced Program
1. Two years' college education background or above, pursuing an original or related major study of a certain subject

1. Chinese Master degree equivalent or above, pursuing an original or related major study of a certain subject
2. A definite purpose and plan for advanced study

Non-Chinese citizen.

Pre-college Program

Note:
Since 2010, those, immigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and applying to study in Tongji University as international students, should satisfy the following additional requirements: the applicants must hold valid passport or other relevant international recognized documents for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year of University registration), the applicants must live overseas for 2 years (Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa.).

Masters Program
Awarded University degree, non-Chinese citizen.

2. The first academic year for doctorial candidates is a probation year. Candidates are qualified to prepare a dissertation only after passing all the degree exams in the first academic year and after passing the interim evaluation. Credits scored on probation will be included in the total credits. Those who fail the degree course exams will be considered as advanced scholars.

General Advanced Program
Two years' college education background or above.
General advanced students can choose all the majors in undergraduate and Masters programs.

Senior Advanced Program
Chinese Master degree equivalent or above
General advanced students can choose all the majors in undergraduate and Masters programs.

 

Application Deadline

Spring Semester: before Jan.15 each year.
Autumn Semester: July.31 each year.
