Dalian Medical University is situated to the north of the picturesque Xinghai Park and nestled at the foot of the hills and facing the sea. Founded in 1947, as one of the key universities affiliated to the Government of Liaoning Province and recognized by WHO, Dalian Medical University has become a comprehensive medical university showcasing training in multiple disciplines at both undergraduate and graduate level.

The international communication of the university is now becoming active and extensive, with the establishment of partnerships with more than 70 universities,  institutes and corresponding organizations of 22 different countries and regions, such as USA, Japan, UK, Germany, Korea, Australia, Ukraine, and etc. Our university has established long-term training and cultural exchange programs with Japan, U.S., and Korea, etc. Foreign students from Japan, U.S., Korea, Pakistan, Nepal, Indian, Mongolia and African countries have been studying in the university.

To enhance international culture exchange, foreign students can be enrolled into every major available at present, which having been approved by the Education Department of Liaoning Province. The candidates include: undergraduates on medicine, junior college students, master programs and doctorate programs, refresher course students on medicine, interns as well as Chinese Language learners. Now the university opens the MBBS course in English for the foreign students.
