These programs prepare students for their study in their subject areas. A year's training equips students with competence in Chinese, a solid basic knowledge of their subject areas, and cross-cultural communicative abilities. With the preparatory language training, students are able to adapt quickly to their study in Chinese universities.
Duration: one year
Goal:
Students are expected to be able to communicate competently in Chinese and acquire cross-cultural communicatiion abilities. Students are expected to reach a certain level in HSK: level 3 or above for those who major in science, engineering, agronomy, medicine (excluding traditional Chinese medicine), economics, law, management and education; level 6 or above for those who major in literature, history, philosophy and traditional Chinese Medicine. Students are equipped with basic knowledge in their subject areas.
