Chinese Language Center was established in 1997. Till now, 1000 international students from 20 countries have finished their study at the center. An annual enrollment of the Chinese language programs is about 120 and the students are arranged into 8-10 classes. The center has 8 full-time and 4 part-time professional language teachers. They are all qualified and have been granted the Certificate of Teaching Chinese Language by the Ministry of Education of China.
The programs are specially prepared for those foreign students who intend to study or work or travel in China, or who are interested in Chinese language and culture. It also aims to improve the Chinese language ability of overseas students studying in CUPB.

Top↑Entry Requirements
The beginners who would like to have a brief experience in Chinese language learning for the purpose of travel or for future Chinese language studies; or who are interested in Chinese culture. No Chinese background required.

- Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
- Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
- Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
- Academic transcript of highest education
- The identity certificate of the guarantors charging your case in China
For example, photocopy of ID card, photocopy of passport, etc.
