Why choose to study this program?

This prograq is offered by School of Electronic and Information Engineering (SEIE) of Beihang University, one of the earliest department of aeronautic electronic enigeering founded in China with a history of 50 years. Electronic information is a broad-range field. Great attention has been paid to cultivate personnel with technology in comprehensive IT manufacture, public network and private network, focused on electronic information technology applications.

Main Courses

Introduction of Electronic Information Engineering, Introduction to Mechanical Engineering, Introduction to Aeronautics and Astronautics, Software Technical Fundament, Circuit Analysic, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Signals and Systems, Analog Electronic Circuit, Digital Signal Processing, Electronic Measure etc.

Main practical teaching links: computer experiment courses, computer training, course design and production practice and graduation design, the general practice teaching of not less than 30 weeks.

Major experiments: complete at least one of the professional direction of a group of professional laboratory, etc

Internship and Career Development

Students of this program could have many practices, like Engineering Cognition Practice, Metalworking Practice and Electronics Practice. The major is designed to train professionals with basic knowledge in electronic technology and information system, basic theory and techniques of information collection, processing and transmission, and basic practice in electronics and information engineering. It turns out senior engineering and technical personnel who are capable of information processing systems, communications systems and electronic equipment research, design, application development and operation analysis.

Top↑Entry Requirements

1. Applicants are expected to study hard, observe the Chinese laws and the regulations of BUAA
2. Applicants should have the equivalent of a high school education
3. Applicants are expected to have good scores and studied hard in high school
4. Applicants should be under thirty five years old in general
5. Applicants should have good command of English and the ability to take courses in English; Applicants are required to submit the certificates of 90 or more in TOEFL, 5.5 or more in IELTS or any other proofs about English level. All the applicants should pass the English Level Test at the beginning of the first semester in BUAA

   Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months)
2. Photocopy of valid passport
   With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo
   A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. High school academic transcript
5. High school graduate certificate
   Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
6. English proficiency test certificate
   For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
