Speciality Programs

(1) Admission Qualifications

Applicant who has passed HSK (band 6), is well-behaved, in good health , holding a certificate of High School and at the age of 18-45 may apply for admission to the corresponding classes according to his/her actual Chinese level. Those who apply for Business and management have to pass mathematics examination.

(2) Application Date and Procedure

Applicants should submit the application documents to the Foreign Affairs Office of the university one month before new semesters start (February or September). The successful applicant will receive a Letter of Admission and a “Visa Application for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China ” (JW 202 Form) and students who enroll in program of over 6 months must take a physical examination report no more than 4 months in advance in the hospital designated by the Chinese Embassy. With the Letter of Admission, JW202 Form and Physical Examination Record, the student can go to the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate for visa application.

(3) Registration

Students should arrive on time according to the registration time of “Letter of Admission”. At the time of registration, students are requested to show their Letter of Admission, Form JW202, Physical Examination Record, Passport, as well as tuition payment, registration, teaching materials and lodging fees for one year. Anyone who can not enroll on time for special reasons should contact the university in advance.

• One passport-sized photo

(5) Relative Fee

• Registration Fee: (US$10, non-refundable; payable in cash) (All documents should be provided with Chinese version or English version)
• Tuition Fee:RMB14000 per year (There are two semesters in one academic year, and all fees can be paid half a year, but one-off in cash. No refunds are available for withdrawal, if the fault is not caused by the university).
• Accommodation payment: be paid according to the existing living conditions (deposit US$100,refundable)
• Boarding Expenses: self-paid (US$60-80 per month) Teaching Material Fee: 300-550 RMB/year

Language and Culture

(1) Major courses and grades:

Beginner: phonetics, listening, speaking, reading, calligraphy
Elementary: intensive reading, listening, speaking, Shadow boxing, grammar, calligraphy
Intermediate: intensive reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar, Chinese history, Chinese selected journal material reading
HSK guidance course: grammar, reading, listening, Chinese literature

(2) Study Schedule: at least one semester. Anyone who asks for special study can be arranged according to the student’s request, and groups are also welcome.

(3) Qualifications

• More than 6 years formal education or equivalence
• Over 12 but below 45 years old
•  Healthy
