Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.
Application Fee
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.
CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.
1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.
2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.
3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.
4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Chinese Language Program
1. A photocopy of valid passport

Undergraduate Program
1. A photocopy of valid passport

3. Applicable diploma and transcript of academic record (Chinese language student not obliged)
4. A photocopy of HSK 6 or above certificate (It is not obliged for students apply Bachelor's degree program in Chinese language and literature)
Master's Degree Program
1. A photocopy of valid passport
2. One passport-sized photo
3. Applicable diploma and transcript of academic record
4. A photocopy of HSK 8 or above certificate
5. Two recommendation letters from professor or associate professor in English or Chinese
Doctoral Degree Program
1. A photocopy of valid passport
2. One passport-sized photo
3. Applicable diploma and transcript of academic record

2. Verifying the enrollment
After it has received all the application material, LNNU College of International Education will go through standard examining and usually after 14 working days it will sent the “Application Form for the Chinese Visa" (JW202) as well as the "Admission Notice".
3. Applying for Chinese Visa
Foreign students must apply for the visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate along with "Application Form for Chinese Visa" and the "Admission Notice"
4. Registering at school
Students should register at College of International Education according to the date given in the "Admission notice", and at the same time pay tuition and registration fee. If due to particular reason a student is not able to register within specified time, they should send a written notice to school, and their registration will be postponed after their notice being approved.
Application for Foreign Students
Application time:
(International applicants who suffer from AIDS, venereal diseases, leprosy, mental disorders, psychosis, progressive pulmonary tuberculosis will not be admitted or employed)
For winter semester: from March until August
For spring semester: from October until February
Short-term students must apply up until one month before beginning of the course
