Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.  

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.
2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.
3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.
4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Applicant Requirements

A.  Bachelor Program:
· Foreign Students, Chinese from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or Overseas Chinese
· Fluent in Chinese Language
· Senior High School Graduates, Those with Equivalent Degree or Above
Applicants under 18 should proceed with notarization of the guardian.

B.  Masters Program (One of the Following):
· TCM Bachelor’s Degree
· Non-TCM Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree, and Bearer of TCM or Acupuncturist License in his
home country
· Non-TCM Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree, has been trained for TCM or Acupuncture, and been
practicing them over 2 years
· Non-TCM Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree, and has completed the designated courses

C.  PhD Program (One of the Following):
· TCM Masters Degree
· Masters of Concerning Western Medicine Subjects, and has completed the designated courses

D.  Short Term Study Program: Interest in TCM, Acupuncture and Moxibustion

Application Materials

Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

A. Bachelor Program
(1) Copy of Highest Degree/Diploma Obtained(Senior High School Graduates, Those with Equivalent Degree or Above)
(2) Copy of Academic Transcript
(3) One passport-sized photo
(4) Copy of Passport or Other ID Document
(5) Copy of notarization of the guardian when applicants under 18

B. Masters Program
(1) Copy of Highest Degree/Diploma Obtained
(Applicants should meet one of the following requirements:
1)TCM Bachelor’s Degree;
2)Non-TCM Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree, and Bearer of TCM or Acupuncturist License in his home country;
3)Non-TCM Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree, has been trained for TCM or Acupuncture, and been practicing them over 2 years;
4)Non-TCM Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree, and has completed the designated courses)
(2) Copy of Academic Transcript
(3) One passport-sized photo
(4) Copy of Passport or Other ID Document

C. PhD Program
(1) Copy of Highest Degree/Diploma Obtained (Applicant should obtain TCM Masters Degree; or Masters of Concerning Western Medicine Subjects, and has completed the designated courses)
(2) Copy of Academic Transcript
(3) One passport-sized photo
(4) Copy of Passport or Other ID Document

D. Short Term Study Program
(1) Copy of Highest Degree/Diploma Obtained
(2) Copy of Academic Transcript
(3) One passport-sized photo

Application, Entry and Date of Entrance Examinations

A. Application Deadline:
Every Jul. 31 for Foreign Applicants
Every Apr 15 for Bachelor Applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or overseas Chinese
Every Dec. 15 in the Previous Year for Postgraduate Applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or Overseas Chinese

B. Entry Date: Every September for Degree Students
Every March or September for Short Term Study Students

C. Date of Entrance Examinations:
July to August for Foreign Applicants
Every June for Bachelor Applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or Overseas Chinese
April to May for Postgraduate Applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or Overseas Chinese
No examinations for short-term study students

D. Exemption from Examinations for undergraduate applicants:
Applicants who are community college graduates or have been accepted as a bachelor program
students or above can be admitted without exam.
