Program Overview
Relying on the support of the advantages of a multidisciplinary university and the resources of national and international famous tourism and hotel organizations, this program aims to equip international talents with a good command of the basic theory of economics and management, familiarity with the knowledge and skills of international tourism, and a good understanding of the development of the domestic and international tourism industry. Graduates are highly sought after in administrative positions in fields of large-size international hotel management organizations, medium to large-size tourism enterprises, tourism administration departments, colleges, etc.

Main Course
Chinese, Introduction to Chinese Culture, Tourism, Introduction to International Hotel Industry, Marketing, Principles of Hotel Management, Human Resource Management, Consumer Behavior.
Degree Awarded
Students who satisfy all the conditions prescribed by SCUT will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Management.

Tuition Fee:
RMB 26,000 per year (including textbooks and teaching materials)
Accommodation:
RMB 9000 per year (Single air-conditioned room); RMB 5000 per year (Double air-conditioned room)
Term/Semester Date
SCUT has two semesters a year; the main semester which admits new students only, runs from September to January, and the second semester runs from late February or early March to July.
Top↑Entry Requirements
Over 18 years old, high school graduate or above;
non-English speaking countries are required to submit a TOEFL score of 85 or IELTS 5.5, or take SCUT’s placement test.

- Health certificate
Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months)
- Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
- Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
- High school academic transcript
- High school graduate certificate
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
- English proficiency test certificate
For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
