Program Description
Introduction
International Foundation Program at South China University of Technology (SCUT) is designed to prepare students to operate in a university setting by familiarizing them with the requirements for successful undergraduate study.
The programme is designed for you if you:
Do not meet the minimum requirements for direct entry in SCUT's degree courses.
Wish to prepare for entry to undergraduate courses in China.
Wish to develop your knowledge and use of English for academic purposes, and your knowledge and research skills for successful study on your future degree.

Course Dates & Duration
1. This one-year program offers a full-time standard mode, consists of two semesters; the first semester starts from September to January, and the second semester from February to July. There are sixteen teaching weeks, one review week and one exam week in every semester.
2. Students can start the course from the first semester OR the second semester; the second semester starters need to pass a mathematical test designed by SCUT.
3. If you are successful you will begin an undergraduate degree course or an English-medium undergraduate course at SCUT.
