1. Course Object
One-semester's time, two or three-semester progress
Intensive Chinese program is an Carefully orchestrated course provided by the International College of Chinese Studies(ICCS), Shanghai Normal University. Based on the rule of second language learning, with scientific curriculum, large amount of information, highly-intensive training, various extracurrilar activities, pure Chinese environment, the course is to help students to make breakrough progress in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing in short term. HSK 3 will be reached in one semester and HSK 6 will be reached in two semesters.

Students who want to improve their Chinese proficiency in short run
3. Teaching features
Small class size (8~10 students per class); Particularly-arranged study supervisor; Combination of classroom teaching and extracurricular activities, Field-trips Communication with Chinese students, Speech Competition, Chinese Corner and so on.
4. Course hours
There are 18 weeks in one semester with 30 class periods per week and three-night tutorial (6 class periods).
5. Curriculum Comprehensive Training Courses Highly-intensive Chinese, Intensive Practice
Language skills Training Courses: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing
Extensive Courses Intensive HSK Preparation, Business Chinese and so on

6. Certificate and credits
Upon the successful completion, 30 credits and a certificate will be issued by SHNU
7. Tuition fee: RMB 17000/semester

- Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
- Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
- Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
