Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find  your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Short-term Chinese Training Programs

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor's passport or ID
4. Applicant whose age is under 18 needs to submit notarial certificate of guardianship
5. A copy of passport or identification card
6. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat

Chinese Business and Cultural Studies (Foreign Language Teaching)

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor's passport or ID
4. Applicant whose age is under 18 needs to submit notarial certificate of guardianship
5. A copy of passport or identification card
6. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate

Bachelor's Degree (in Chinese)

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor’s passport or ID
4. A copy of passport or other identification
5. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat
6. A copy of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) results (scoring at Elementary Level C or higher)

International Undergraduate Programs (General Education in English)

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor's passport or ID
4. A copy of passport or other identification
5. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat
6. A copy of TOEFL/IELTS or certification from the institution awarding your most recent degree to confirm the language of instruction is English

Master's Degree (in Chinese)

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Two reference letters from the applicant’s associate professors or professors
4. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor’s passport or ID
5. A copy of passport or other identification
6. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat
7. A copy of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) results (scoring at Intermediate Level C or higher) 

Master's Degree (in English)

Doctoral Degree (in Chinese)

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Two reference letters from the applicant's professors
4. A copy of master thesis or other published thesis required for Doctoral Programs
5. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor's passport or ID
6. A copy of passport or other identification
7. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat
8. A copy of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) results (scoring at Intermediate Level C or higher) for programs offered in Chinese

Doctoral Degree (in English)

1. A copy of highest graduation certificate
2. A copy of highest graduation transcripts
3. Two reference letters from the applicant's professors
4. A copy of master thesis or other published thesis required for Doctoral Programs
5. Letter of guarantor and a copy of guarantor's passport or ID
6. A copy of passport or other identification
7. One recent passport photo, white background, no hat
8. A copy of TOEFL 90 above or IELTS 6.0 above for programs offered in English

Note: Documents must be prepared in either Chinese or English. UIBE will not return the application materials regardless of acceptance or not.
