Top↑Program Description
Summer Chinese Language and Culture programs are offered at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels with around 15 students in each class.
Placement test will be given to determine the appropriate course for you. Changes can be made during the first week of classes.
The curriculum includes Reading/Writing and Speaking/Listening courses. Language classes normally meet four hours daily, five days per week, including lecture, small group drill, conversation sessions, and individual practice sessions.
A language partner who is student in Shandong University of Science and Technology will be assigned upon request. Elective courses in Tai-chi, Chinese Calligraphy, and Brush Painting will be available. Lectures on Chinese culture and topics relevant to modern China will also be scheduled. Confucius Hometown and Mount Taishan 2 days' tour are optional.
These programs are designed to help students become linguistically and culturally competent in Mandarin Chinese. The tours will offer students a chance to learn more about Chinese culture and society and to broaden their experience in China.
Notes
1.Lectures on Chinese Culture include: Chinese painting and calligraphy/Chinese folk music/Kungfu etc.
2.Entertainment includes: watch movie Show/Chinese language party.
3.Qingdao Ctiy tour includes: Mount Laoshan
Tuition
Two weeks 1600 RMB, three weeks 2000 RMB, four weeks 2400 RMB, six weeks 3400 RMB, each additional week 500 RMB

High school certificate or higher academic degree.

With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
- Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
- Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
