Qingdao University, situated in the Chinese eastern seaside city Qingdao, faces the Yellow Sea to its south and Mount Fushan as its background, creating a beautiful academic setting.
Qingdao University is one of the 200 universities that were authorized to accept foreign students in earlier years and began this program since it was established. Now the overseas students studying here are more than 700, who come from U.S.A., Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Lebanon, Sudan, Russia, Brazil and so on, more than 20 countries.
The Medical College of Qingdao University rapidly improves research. Presently, it has 1 Provincial Research Center; 6 research institutions; 8 prime academic laboratories of the Provincial Education Department; 9 prime academic laboratories of the Provincial Hygienic Department; and 52 Research offices for basic and clinical teaching. And, English-medium Clinical Medicine (MBBS) program for international students is mainly taught at the Medical College of Qingdao University.
