Top↑Program Description

OEC is experienced and skillful in organizing and teaching short-term Chinese programs. It accepts more than 10 groups every year, with the number varying from 15 to hundreds of persons and the ages from teenagers to middle-aged or senior people.

The study time, courses, activities and fees can be decided through negotiation. The minimum number for a short-term group is 15 students of similar Chinese level. Usually, Chinese classes are set in the morning and culture courses or other activities in the afternoon.

Culture courses:
Calligraphy, painting, movies, music, paper cutting, i-go games (Chinese chess), Kungfu, etc.

Tours:
South Buddha Temple, Overseas Chinese museum, Hulishan Cannon Fort, Gulangyu Island, Wanshi Botanical Garden, Tan Kah Kee Museum in Jimei, Quanzhou city, Chongwu city, Earthern Buildings in Yongding, Longkong Cave in Longyan, Wuyi Mountain, etc.

Fees:

Tuition Fees:
One week 1200RMB;
Two weeks 2000RMB;
An extra 600RMB is charged for every more week.
Four weeks 3200RMB
Eight weeks 5600RMB
More than 12 weeks, charged by the price of long-term Chinese program
Tuition fee will increase if the courses are taught in English.

Dormitory rents: About 100RMB /day /person in a double room

Meal expenses: about 30-50RMB/day/person if dining in a group, about RMB20/person/day if dining individually in school cafeteria

Others: The costs for tours, textbooks and calligraphy or painting tools are charged according to the real condition.

  1. Photocopy of valid passport
    With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
  2. Passport photo
    A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
  3. High school academic transcript
  4. High school graduate certificate
    Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
