Besides the designated teachers in charge of foreign students affairs, each year there are 100 volunteers arranged to help overseas students handle all troubles they met since they arrival until they leaving. Those volunteers will be divided into 7 or 8 groups and each group guarantee that they are already for serving the students at any time. It will never be happened like the situation that volunteers can not give a hand because of their classes. These groups are mainly responsible for dealing with the issues like visa processing, activities organizing, news reporting, regular life problems, free Chinese corner, and etc. In addition, those who are with good communication skill and strong English proficiency will be introduced to the foreign students as the one-to-one language partner absolutely for free.

Service items include:

Airport pick-up: Free of charge (24 hours service).

Assist with registration: Volunteers help students to register

Assist with applying a visa: Volunteers help students to apply a student visa

Entrance education: Two weeks later after entrance

Assisting with orientation: A student can get a campus visiting led by a volunteer to know the way around.

Organizing festival activities: The College will have parties every New Year and Spring Festival, taking the student to dine together. On May Day, everybody will have BBQ on the beach. On Dragon Boat Festival, students will receive the Zongzi to experience traditional Chinese folk custom. Moon cakes are ready for the Mid-autumn Day, and a party will be held to celebrate the Mid-autumn Day and National Day. As an international environment, we also organize to have a party on Thanksgiving Day. There is also Christmas vacation for overseas students. Otherwise, the College often organizes a variety of interesting out-of-class activities, which make the school life colorful
