The curriculum planning shall include the following three parts:
(1) Chinese culture and natural science courses. In order to facilitate their learning and life in China and contact with patients in their medical practice, the Chinese language shall be a compulsory course during the whole undergraduate medical program in English for international students in China.
(2) Basic medical sciences, behavioral science, humanities, social science and medical ethics, preventive medicine and clinical medicine. It is also required to pass the examinations of these courses respectively.
(3) Internship. The institutions shall meticulously organize the reasonable arrangement of the internship. The duration of the internship is one year (at least 48 weeks).
Every semester's curriculums will be adjusted according to the university arrangement at that time.

The internship is arranged in the 6th year with duration of 1 year (at least 48 weeks). Students can choose to do the internship/training in China, their home country or any other country. During the internship period in China, the tuition fee is still RMB 22,000 per year. During the internship period in other country, the tuition fee is RMB 11,000 per year.
For students who would like to do the internship in China, there are no language requirements. JMSU would arrange the internship at one of its 3 affiliated hospitals – First Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University, Second Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University and Third Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University.
The First Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University (FAHJU) is a modern, large-sized and comprehensive teaching hospital directly under the Health Department of Heilongjiang Province.
It has a total staff of 1542, with 178 having senior professional titles, 270 having associate senior professional titles and 448 having intermediate professional titles. 16 of them have MDs and 186 of them have master's degrees. It has 43 departments of medical treatment, 11 departments of medical techniques and 1600 in-patient beds.

After obtaining MBBS Degree, the graduates can apply to take the medical licensing examination in the medical council in order to get registered and practice medicine. According to the regulations in different countries, the students may need to do the degree accreditation first. A MBBS degree holder can find jobs in government as well as private hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities. Except this, one can also start his own clinic or pursue study for master’s degree.
MBBS Degree: On completing the requirements of the teaching program and passing the graduation examinations successfully, international medical undergraduates will be granted a graduation certificate and conferred a medical degree by the host institution, if they meet the degree regulations of the host institution. The English copy of the degree will state MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
1. Applicants must be under 30 of age.
2. Completed 10 + 2 years of education, 'A' & 'O' levels or Intermediate of Science or equivalent with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and he/she must have passed in all the subjects mentioned above ,securing not less than 70% overall
3. Completed BSC degree recognized by the university with one of the following subject's viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least one other prescribed science subject of study upto ancillary level and he/she should have scored not less than aggregate of 70% marks; provided that such candidate shall have passed the earlier qualifying examination (10+2 or an equivalent examination) with the subjects physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
4. In good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and applicants must abide by Chinese laws and university regulations and respect Chinese people's customes.
