Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

1.Visiting students (non-degree granting)

1.1 General visiting students
• Application fee: 400 RMB and extra 160 RMB (cash) if meeting at the airport is required.
• Guarantor form
• Physical Examination Form
• Certificate of finance of the applicant or his financial guarantor from the bank
• One photocopy of your valid passport
• One passport-sized photo

1.2 Senior visiting students
• A master's degree diploma or a certificate of studying for Ph.D
• Guarantor form
• Physical Examination Form
• Certificate of finance of the applicant or his financial guarantor from the bank
• Application fee: 400 RMB and extra 160 RMB (cash) if meeting at the airport is required.
• One passport-sized photo
• One photocopy of your valid passport

2. Undergraduates
• Guarantor form
• Physical Examination Form
• Certificate of finance of the applicant or his financial guarantor from the bank
• Application fee: 400 RMB and extra 160 RMB (cash) if meeting at the airport is required.
• One passport-sized photo
• One photocopy of your valid passport
• A copy of HSK report higher than level 4 (4 included)
• Senior high school graduation diploma and official transcripts of your academic achievement report (original documents or natarized copies given by foreign countries or Chinese Embassy in foreign countries);

Note: Thoese who didn't have a HSK report can study Chinese at BSU if other materials are ready.After they get the certificate of the appropriate Chinese proficiency level, they can start their study at BSU.

3. Master graduate students
(Those who want to major in Human Kinesiology and Science must have a bachelor's degree of Human Kinesiology and Science, Medicine or other relevant majors,The Graduate School has the ultimate right of decision.)
• Guarantor form
• Physical Examination Form
• Certificate of finance of the applicant or his financial guarantor from the bank
• Application fee: 400 RMB and extra 160 RMB (cash) if meeting at the airport is required.
• One passport-sized photo
• One photocopy of your valid passport
• A copy of the HSK report higher than level 5 (5 Included)
• College graduation diploma and a bachelor's degree diploma
• Official transcripts of your academic achievement report (notarized copies given by the Service Center for Scholarly Exchange in the Service Center for Scholarly Exchange in the Ministry of Education)
• Two recommendation letters from associate professors or persons with higher academic titles
• Self-supported students should pass the master entrance examination
• Scholarship students will be enrolled according to the relevant regulations after being approved by Office of foreign students and the specific school or department they apply to.

4. Doctor graduate students
(Those who want to major in Human Kinesiology and Science must have a bachelor's degree of Human Kinesiology and Science, Medicine or other relevant majors,The Graduate School has the ultimate right of decision.)
• Guarantor form
• Physical Examination Form
• Certificate of finance of the applicant or his financial guarantor from the bank
• Application fee: 400 RMB and extra 160 RMB (cash) if meeting at the airport is required.
• One passport-sized photo
• One photocopy of your valid passport
• A copy of the HSK report higher than level 5 (5 included)
• Master's thesis
• A master's degree diploma and official transcripts of your academic achievement report (notarized copies given by the Service Center for Scholarly Exchange in the Service Center for Scholarly Exchange in the Ministry of Education)
• Two recommendation letters from professors
• Self-supported students should pass the entrance examinations
• Scholarship students will be enrolled according to the relevant regulations after being approved by Office of foreign students and the specific school or department they apply to.

5. Language and Culture Course
• passport-sized photos;
• one photocopy of your valid passport.

Applicant Qualification

General Visiting Students Program:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, above the age of 18 and under the age of 60.

Senior Visiting Students Program:
Candidates must have at least a Master's degree or pass a qualification examination for Ph. D. Senior visiting students are normally supervised by a professor of the accepting college or department to conduct research in a special subject. The program lasts one to two years.

Undergraduate Program:
Students must have attained a senior high school diploma and have achieved at least HSK 4 (Hanyu shuiping kaoshi) exam. They are required to complete the curriculum of at least 4 years.

Master's Program:
Students must have attained a college graduation diploma and a bachelor's degree and have two recommendation letters from teachers having the title of Associate Professor or higher Self-supported students must have achieved at least HSK 5 exam and pass the Graduate Admission Tests conducted by BSU. Scholarship students must be sent by China Scholarship Council, who can attain the master degree. They are required to complete the curriculum of at least 3 years.
Those who want to major in Human Kinesiology and Science must have a bachelor' s degree of Human Kinesiology and Science, Medicine or other relevant majors. The Graduate School has the ultimate right of decision.

Doctorate Program:
Students must have attained a master's degree and have two or more recommendation letters from professors Self-supported students must have achieved at least HSK 5 exam and pass the Graduate Admission Tests conducted by BSU. Scholarship students must be sent by China Scholarship Council, who can attain a doctor' s degree. They are required to complete the curriculum of at least 3 years.
Those who want to major in Human Kinesiology and Science must have a bachelor' 5 degree of Human Kinesiology and Science, Medicine or other relevant majors. The Graduate School has the ultimate right of decision.

	Studying in BSU

Note:
1. Students entitled to enjoy the Chinese Government's Scholarship and non-degree students must be sent by China Scholarship Council and will be enrolled after they pass the qualification check of our university.
2. Exchange students will be enrolled according to the agreement reached by the two universities.
3. Applicants under the age of 18 must have a Chinese guarantor and the notarial certificate and those above the age of 60 must have a health certificate (namely students should explain their own health conditions and must undertake the correspondent responsibilities when there are health problems. ix foreign students must have medical insurance and accident insurance during their stay in China.

When to apply

Application Period for Long-term Chinese Program and Bachelor's Degree Program
Spring semester: Before January 15 every year
Fall semester: Before July 30 every year.

Application Period for Self-supported Postgraduate Programs
Master graduate students: November 1 to November 30 every year
Doctor graduate students: December 1 to December 31 every year
