International students are welcome to apply to our undergraduate programmes leading to the bachelor degree certificate from one of SBC's 9 British University Partners.

The price of studying the degree in Shanghai will be much less than it is if studying the same exact qualification at the British campus. In addition the cost of living will be significantly lower in China than in UK.

International students who are native English speakers and have graduated from high-school may enter directly into SBC Year 2 programmes. They may study for 3 years in Shanghai and receive a UK Degree or they may transfer to the British university campus for the final 2 years of the UK 3 year degree [SBC Year 3 (UK Year 2) or SBC Year 4 (UK Year 3)]. Or they may study in UK for SBC Year 3 (UK Year 2) and return to Shanghai for SBC Year 4 (UK Year 3). The flexible options will enable students to select according to their budget and their location preferences.  

International students who are not native English speakers will have the same options as above, but will normally need to enroll initially in the SBC Year 1 (UK Year 0) "Foundation Year".  However a combination of high academic qualifications plus a recognized English language qualification may be accepted for direct entry into Year 2 on a case by case basis.  Mature students and those with non-standard qualifications are warmly welcomed to make an appointment to meet with the International Office for suggestions about their study options.
