Top↑Program Description
The Chinese language supplementary course is set up especially for international students who want to study for degrees at NUST. Through training, they can take specialized courses taught in Chinese. Generally speaking, students are required to study Chinese language for at least six months to one year in accordance with their Chinese language level.
Curriculum
a. Required Courses
1. Junior Class: Junior Chinese, Junior Listening, Applied Dialogue, Junior Reading, etc;
2. Intermediate Class: Intermediate Chinese, Intermediate Listening, Newspaper Reading, Applied Dialogue, Applied Writing, Business Chinese, etc;
3. Senior Class: Senior Chinese, Newspapers Reading, Topic Discussion, Applied Writing, Business Chinese, etc.
b. Elective Courses
Guidance to HSK, Survey of China, Chinese History and Culture, Chinese Character, Ancient Chinese, Chinese Literature, Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Shadow Boxing, Wushu, Qigong, Chinese Cooking.
c. and Practice
We also arrange students’ study tour, covering visits to factories or companies, discussions with counterparts and sightseeing in cities such as Suzhou, Shanghai and Hangzhou once or twice in one semester (Traveling fees are excluded).

- Above 16 years old
- being physically healthy
- with the educational background of high school.

- Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
- Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
- Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
