Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas could find payment details o use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants)

Application Materials

Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

Bachelor Programs

1. An official certificate of your highest education
2. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript
3. A photocopy of HSK certificate
4. A photocopy of the applicant's passport
5. Passport-size photo

Master and Doctoral Programs

1. An official certificate of highest education

2. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript
Applicants should offer a photocopies of their notarized final schooling certificate and school report in Chinese or English version.

3. A photocopy of HSK 6 certificate

4. Personal statement written in Chinese (1000 words for Master Degree candidate and 1500 words for Doctor Degree candidate). Should present education background, work experience, academic research results, research proposal, and personal development plan and etc.

5. The indexes and abstracts of published theses/dissertation or other materials to prove applicant's research ability.

6. Two recommendation letters from persons of associate professors status or higher.

7. A photocopy of the applicant's passport

8. Passport-size photo

Qulification

Bachelor Programs
Age of 18 or above, healthy foreigner, a high school graduate or with equivalent qualification, pass Band 6 of the HSK Examination for studying in Liberal Arts, and Business subjects and pass Band 3 or 4 of the HSK Examination for studying in Chinese Language major.

Master Programs
healthy foreigner with Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification, pass Band 6 of the HSK Examination, two letters of recommendation from persons of at least associate professor status.

Doctoral Programs

healthy foreigner with Master degree or equivalent qualification, pass Band 6 of the HSK Examination, two letters of recommendation from persons of at least associate professor status.

Long-term Chinese Language Program

Age of 18 or above, healthy foreigner, a high school graduate or with equivalent qualification

Bachelor Programs: 15th March to 30th May
Master's and Doctoral Programs: 15th March to 15th May
