Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas could find payment details o use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Materials

Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

1. A photocopy of certificate of highest academic degree obtained and transcript of academic record. 
2. A photocopy of  Physical Examination Record for Foreigners
3. Candidates for Doctoral or Master degrees will need two letters of recommendation from persons of associate professors status or higher.
4. Apart from the above materials, self-financed students are required to provide proof of their solvency by their agent in China or other financial warranty.
5. A photocopy of HSK certificate
6. A photocopy of the applicant's passport.
7. Passport-size photo

Note:
The above materials should be written in English or in Chinese, or attached with translation in either of the two languages. Relevant forms are available from Chinese embassies, consulates or NUAA.

Qualification
All applicants must be in good health.

Bachelor Programs in English Medium
• An applicant who either has graduated from a recognized high school or is on his/her junior year of high school can apply for admission.
• Although the majority of our students have gone though a highly selective national entry examination, our admission process for foreign students is different. There are no special entry exams (except you have to prove your language proficiency), but students have to prove they are qualified. We look for eager, highly engaged students who will bring a high degree of intellectual energy and creativity to NUAA, and who have taken a reasonably challenging course load, selecting from among the most demanding courses available to them.

Bachelor Programs
Under the age of 25, a high school graduate or with equivalent qualification, able to take courses in Chinese (passing the 4th level HSK).

Master Programs
Under the age of 40, a B.S. degree or equivalent qualification, able to take courses in English or in Chinese (reaching the 4th level HSK), two letters of recommendation from persons of at least associate professor status.

Doctoral Programs
Under the age of 45, a M.S. degree or equivalent qualification, able to take courses in English or in Chinese (reaching the 4th level HSK), two letters of recommendation from persons of at least associate professor status.

Deadline for Application

For Bachelor Degree Students in Aeronautical Engineering:
The Application dates are from March 15th to Sept. 10th.

For Other Bachelor Degree Students:
The Application dates are from March 15th to August  30th.

For Master and Ph.D. Degree Students:
The Application dates for the spring semester are from September 15th to December 31 of the year prior to enrollment, and for the fall semester, from March 1 to August 10 of the year of enrollment.
