Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas could find payment details o use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Materials
Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;

2. Passport-size photo;

3. Academic record: a photocopy of the transcript;

4. An official certificate of your highest education;
Applicants should offer a photocopies of their notarized final schooling certificate and school report in Chinese or English version. For a student at school now, a statement given by the school to prove the situation is required.

5. A photocopy of the Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and Blood Test Record
Applicants who want to stay in China for more than 6 months should provide two copies of the Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and Blood Test Record, which are printed by the Department of Health Quarantine of China.

6. A letter of guarantee from the guardian
Applicants should offer the original letter of guarantee signed by his/her guardian.

7. Foreign students who want to study in Music should submit a cassette of the record of personal music work.
Foreign students who want to study in Fine Arts should submit 4 photocopies of personal artwork including 2 copies of sketch pictures and 2 copies of pastel pictures.

8. A photocopy of HSK certificate


Qualifications of Applicants

1. Undergraduate students: High school level or higher.

2. Language students: No specific requirements.

3. Master's candidates: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent educational level.

4. Chinese language requirements: 

1) Foreign students who want to study to get Bachelor's degree for Chinese Literature should pass Band Six of the HSK Examination before graduation.
Foreign students who want to apply to study other undergraduate majors should pass Band Three of the HSK Examination before graduation.

2) Foreign students who want to study for a Master's degree should pass Band Six of the HSK Examination before graduation.
