- Applications should have no-criminal record. Applicants should observe the laws and decrees of the People's Republic of China as well as the regulations of YNU, and respect the folkways and customs of Chinese people.
- Applicants should be healthy.
- Applicants should be high school graduate or the equivalent.
- Applicants have Chinese proficiency of HSK grade 4 or above.

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant - High school academic transcript
