There are still some vacancies in Jiangsu Province Government Jasmine Scholarship and Jiangsu University President scholarship for 2011 fall intake programs. Students who want to get these scholarships please apply as soon as possible.

Applicant Qualifications

• Non-Chinese nationality, love Chinese culture, friendly to China, has never got any scholarships before.
• The age of undergraduate students should be under 25, the age of graduate students should be under 35, and the age of doctoral students should be under 40.
• Students with international educational background (for example, studied in the non-native first-class universities for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) are preferred.
• Students who get some HSK level and apply for Chinese-taught programs are preferred.
• The preferred English-taught programs are: Computer science and technology, business management, chemical engineering, civil engineering and so on.

Application Documents

The applicants need to submit the materials as follows:

• Undergraduate students: the word document of study application form, scholarship application from, passport (photo page), the highest diploma certificate and transcript, health form, household income proof, photocopy of HSK certificate, photocopy of the guarantor’s valid documentation and the study plan in China (above 500 words.)

• Graduate students: Mainly recommended by the tutors. In addition to the materials required for undergraduate students, graduate students should also submit at least two letters of recommendations and research proposal. If the highest educational certificate is not English or Chinese version, they must provide the notarized proof in English or Chinese version. The study plan in China should be above 1000 words.
