Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee 

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas could find payment details o use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Qualifications

General Requirements 

General requirements including the following:

• Health Certification:

The applicant maybe required to undergo a complete medical examination.

• Law:

The applicant will be contracted to abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and abide by the policies and guidelines of the Guangxi TCM University.

• Code of Conduct:

The student is required to demonstrate a respect for international equal opportunity concepts which include antidiscrimination on the basis of sex, race or religion. Contravention of any of these requirements and including sexual harassment will not be tolerated.

• Documentation:

Copies of Passport and 3 passport photographs are to be submitted.

• Registration Fees:

A registration fee of 400 RMB will be paid on application. This fee is not refundable.

• Beginning of term:

For undergraduate and graduate program, the school year starts at the fall semester in September only.

Detail Requirements

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

• Qualifications:

Completion of higher school education (proof of qualification must be provided, e g. diplomas, certificates and school reports).

• Chinese Language skills:

Be fluent in Chinese and a pass in the level 6 Chinese proficiency test (HSK) or an certificate on Chinese language training, however for students without Chinese language skills, a 1-2 years Chinese Language course can be provided subject to adequate numbers.

• Graduation:

Graduation is subject to successful completion of all subjects with enough credits including a pass in the level 6 HSK.

• As Requirements in General Requirements

MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM (Full Time Study)

• Chinese Language skills:

Be fluent in Chinese

• Prerequisite Qualifications:

Applicant to have completed a Bachelor Degree in medical science at an approved medical educational institution or diploma of medical science and have a minimum of two years clinical experience in medicine.
The applicant is required to provide supporting documentation such as certificates or letters from employers describing your role in the clinic and the duration of employment in this role

• Postgraduate Exam:

The applicant from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is required to successfully complete the postgraduate entrance exam.

MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM (Part Time Study)

• Language of instruction:

Graduate courses are supported with an English speaking interpreter service for Non-Chinese speaking students and are also conducted in Chinese. 

• Prerequisite Qualifications:

Applicant to have completed a Bachelor Degree in medical science at an approved medical educational institution or diploma of medical science and have a minimum of two years clinical experience in medicine.
The applicant is required to provide supporting documentation such as certificates or letters from employers describing your role in the clinic and the duration of employment in this role

• Postgraduate Exam:

The applicant from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is required to successfully complete the postgraduate entrance exam.

EXTRA CURRICULM STUDY PROGRAMS

2. Engaged in medical research and treatment
3. A qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine
4. A TCM enthusiast for short-term beginning course
