Medical Services for International Students
- Scholarship students suffering from an illness can see the doctor at CQU Hospital with a CQU student card. Students should pay for registration fee and see the doctor with individual medical file.
- Given prior permission from the doctor at the school hospital and the International Student Office, scholarship students can consult a doctor in an off campus hospital. Without such prior permission, the student will have to bear all the costs him/herself.
- International students should pay for false teeth, glasses, abortion, and nourishing medicines.
- The university is responsible for the expenses on medicine, change of hospital and transportation for recuperation. Other fees are borne by scholarship students themselves.
- Anyone who violates the law and regulations resulting in accidental injures should pay for all the subsequent expenses incurred.
- International students mentioned above refer to the government scholarship students. Self-financing students are responsible for all expenses on medical treatment on or off campus.
Transportation for International Students
- Free transportation will be arranged for University-organized activities.
- For other activities such as travel, visit, or teaching activities organized be CQU and scholarship students who need to consult doctors due to serious illness, free transportation will be provided.
- Pick-up arrangement will be made free of charge for newly arrived students and students who will leave CQU for good.
- The university is not responsible for transportation for students going home, visit their relatives and friends and travel during the period of study.
- The university will not arrange transportation for self¨Corganized activities for home country holidays or religious activities.
