Chongqing University Summer School Program is designed for the non-Chinese speakers, aiming at providing more chances for learners to improve the Chinese language, get to know Chinese culture and experience Chinese life style. 

Timetable

• July 26 –August 6

Curriculum

• Various courses are provided, including language courses as well as elective courses like Chinese Kong fu , Chinese calligraphy & Art,  folk song, etc.;
• Classes includes Beginning, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Chinese, three hours every morning, from Monday to  Friday with 10-15 students in each class.

Travel and language practice

• Visit  places of historic interest and scenic beauty in Chongqing, including CiQiKou, HongYaDong, JieFangBei, ChaoTianMen, NanShan, World National Heritage  (FuRongDong, XianNvShan, TianShengSanQiao, LongShuiXiaDiFeng), World Cultural Heritage (DaZu Stone Carvings).
• Teachers will accompany students to travel and introduce Chinese geography, history, folk custom and Chinese culture.
• Lodge in hotel (above three star).      

Others

• Certificate can be conferred after completion of the program. 
• Live in the foreign students dormitory of Chongqing University, equipped with air-conditioner, TV set, telephone, bathroom etc.

Fees: RMB3800

• Including airport meeting and pick-up service, orientation and welcome banquet, tuition, textbooks, accommodation, travel insurance, elective classes, weekend excursions and field trips, cultural activities.

1. Photocopy of valid passport
   With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
2. Passport photo
   A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
3. Health certificate
   Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months)
