Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online
Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Application Materials
Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

Degree Programs
1) Certificate of English Language Qualification such as IELTS, TOEFL or other acceptable English language qualifications;
2) Verified and translated certificates of education qualifications;
3) Verified and translated transcripts;
4) Two references, at least one of these should be linked to your academic background, the other references can either be another academic reference or related to any work experience you may have;
5) Passport-size photo;
6) Photocopy of your passport.

Non-degree Programs
1) Verified and translated certificates of education qualifications;
2) Photocopy of your passport;
3) Passport-size photo.

Admission Requirements
Students of non-Chinese nationalities are eligible to apply as international students. Make sure to submit your application before July 31st.

Academic and English Language Requirements

The University accepts a wide variety of school, college and foundation qualifications such as A-Level, AS-Level, IB and other equivalent overseas qualifications.

All students must have acceptable English language qualifications to study at the University. Various English qualifications are acceptable including:

English Language
• IELTS 5.5 for year 1 entry, or 6.5 for advanced standing, or
• TOEFL 520 (paper-based), or 190 (computer-based) or 75 (iBT) for year 1 entry; or
• TOEFL 570 (paper-based), 230 (computer-based) or 88 (iBT) for advanced standing

Academic
• 400 for Entrance Examination to HEIs for Overseas Chinese and Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan (other English language qualification is not required); or
• A-Levels, IB or equivalent overseas qualifications; or
• 75% for all courses within 3 years in high school
