Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online

Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON'T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE CUCAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

CUCAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal: Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union: CUCAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Chinese Language Program

Eligibility

• Applicants in good health can apply for Chinese Language study.

Materials required:

1. One passport-sized photo
2. The copy of passport

Undergraduate students

Eligibility

• Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
• Applicants must have must have completed high-school with good grade and be under the age of 30

Materials required

1. One passport-sized photo
2. High School Certificate (notarized photocopy)
3. Notarized copy of a list of the courses and transcripts in undergraduate studies.
4. New HSK Level 4 or above certificate (except Chinese Language Undergraduate Program)
5. The copy of passport

Note: The expiration for registration for new students is at the end of June each year.

 Masters Programs Conducted in English

Eligibility

• Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
• Applicants must have bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35.
• Any applicant who is not from an English-speaking country must submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language . TOEFL results must be 550 or greater, ITELS results 5.5 or greater. If you take the university's exam and do not pass, you will not be admitted.

Materials required:

1. One passport-sized photo
2. Bachelor's diploma (notarized photocopy).
3. Notarized copy of a list of the courses and transcripts in undergraduate studies.
4. Two letters of recommendation by professors.
5. Certification of English language proficiency
6. The copy of passport

Note: The deadline for registration for new students is July 15.2010, and the semester will start on September 1.

Master Degree students

Eligibility

• Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
• Applicants must have bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35. 

Materials required

1. One passport-sized photo
2. Bachelor's diploma (notarized photocopy).
3. Notarized copy of a list of the courses and transcripts in undergraduate studies.
4. New HSK Level 4 or above certificate
5. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors.
6. The copy of passport

Note: The expiration for registration for new students is at the end of June each year.

Doctoral Degree students

Eligibility

• Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
• Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master's degree. 

Materials required

1. One passport-sized photo
2. Master diploma (notarized photocopy).
3. Notarized copy of a list of the courses and transcripts in whole master degree studies.
4. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors.
5. The copy of passport

Note: The expiration for registration is at the end of June and December each year.
