Long-Term Chinese Language Training Program
Program Description
The Chinese language training department of HIT, which belongs to the International Student Center, was established in 1985. More than 4000 foreign students from over 70 countries have studied and graduated from here. We carry the mission statement "Study Chinese in China; Study Mandarin in Harbin; Study Standard Mandarin at HIT." We provide comfortable learning conditions for foreign students to study Mandarin based on the advantages of Harbin. The department offers different levels of Chinese language programs and various types of short-term training courses, including spoken Chinese, reading, listening, writing, business Chinese, news reading and Chinese culture and history, etc. Besides these, the Center also offers preparation courses for foreign students who wish to enter an undergraduate program at HIT. The Center provides over 60 well-trained faculties, rich in teaching experience. There are about 20 hours of study each week, with an average of 17 students in each class.

Applicants in good health can apply for Chinese Language study.
