Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine School of International Education (SIE) was founded in 1990. Presently it has 52 students from Korea, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and other countries and regions for diploma courses, and students from Russia, Italy, the United States, and Egypt for short term trainings.

Under it are offices for Administration, Teaching, Students' Affairs, Admissions, and Chinese Language, each having clearly defined responsibilities. SIE offers both diploma and short-term courses.

SIE has a complete set of rules and regulations for students' administration. It invites renowned professors and experts to teach students of foreign nationalities, and makes use of the three hospitals  affiliated with the University for students' internship. SIE has won general acknowledgement both by cooperative partners and students. Meanwhile, SIE attaches much importance to students' life and leisure activities.  

SIE has its own website made in Chinese, English, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese languages, taking every opportunity to give publicity to the University and attract more students. SIE has signed Letter of Intent or Agreement with Italian, American, German, New Zealand, and Korean partners.
